More recently, the Barbie sales have dropped about 12%. The company says it is because young girls are starting to lose the desire to have a "perfect" doll.

What is G.I. Joe?
G.I Joe is a line of action figures produced by the toy company Hasbro. There are dolls that represent for branches of the U.S armed forces. All men until later when hey only created women nurses. The doll is 3.75"inches, and grew through out the years.
How popular it is?
G.I Joe are a popular brand for young boys between ages 4-12. It got so popular that in 2003 they put it into the toy hall of fame. Then when the G.I joe movies came out the Dolls became popular again, but the movies were not as successful as the dolls.

When G.I Joe's were first made they were only men with bulky muscles. Then later they made the first women G.I joe, but they made her a nurse who was skinny and had super muscle arms. Finally through out the years men have been getting more muscular and the women more muscular, but still skinny. Also only a phew of the dolls have armor protection, both men and boys.
Lego
Legos are a popular line of construction toys developed by Lego. Legos were first made yellow to avoid racial discrimination, but have now incorborated more white men then black men into some of their sets. One of their Star War's sets was accused of racism, because the African-Americans were scowling, which prompted a racist stereotype and also some of the characters looked sinister and held slaves captive.
